TELEHEALTH THERAPY
What is Telehealth Therapy?
Telehealth Therapy allows individuals to attend therapy sessions via video or telephone from the comfort of your own home, providing convenience and security.
How can Dr. DeSantis & Associates help?
One of the most convenient ways to take care of yourself and in the comfort of your own home is telehealth therapy. This form of therapy allows you to attend therapy sessions via video or telephone with your therapist at home. This allows you to start to make change where it needs to happen the most, outside of the traditional office setting, and in your home environment. Instead of closing the door and leaving your goals behind when you leave your therapist’s office, you can now begin to make changes during your sessions. Whether you want to focus on symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, a career change, loss, college stress, or relationship problems to name a few, you can now do this in the privacy of your own home with telehealth sessions.
We work with a variety of presenting issues, individuals and treatment modalities. We provide individual, family, and couple’s therapy. We work with clients of all ages and use evidenced based approaches such as cognitive behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy that are considered to be most effective in clinical practice. The client is always in our best interest and a screening is conducted during the intake process to help determine the best match for the client.
